The
Maintenance Division is tasked with the job of maintaining
all the pumps, motors, generators, electrical control
panels, valves and appurtenances which operate the water
treatment process and wastewater collection system. The
personnel in this Division ensure that the twenty-four hour
a day, seven day a week production of water and collection
of wastewater remains uninterrupted for the health, safety
and welfare of our customers.

The Water Treatment Plant, 19 raw water
wells, 3 above ground storage tanks, 11 high service pumps along
with Chlorine, Fluoride and Lime processing pumps, valves and
equipment are also maintained by the Maintenance Division.
This Division also services 74 wastewater pump stations that collect
eight million gallons of sewage a day. Over fifteen miles of sewer
mains are cleaned and inspected each year. Damaged sewer mains are
repaired with the latest in trenchless technology with little
disruption to service and very little, if any restoration required
to our roadways.
